Alexander Steele Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a large manufacturing company based in Glasgow we are currently assisting them with the recruitment of a Sales Administrator
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Sales Administrator, to join a rapidly expanding business with a dynamic sales team
The Role
Support the delivery of sales targets for a specified account(s).
Provide administrative requirements including processing orders and invoices in a timely manner; management of equipment; and preparation of weekly sales reports and forecasts.
Updating Si system with new product data ensuring all information is accurate.
Liaise with all departments to ensure orders are dispatched in line with customer expectations.
Daily communication of shortages to the customer.
Monitor and evaluate performance reviews against customer expectations on a regular basis- account KPIs.
Ensure compliance with all company and legislative requirements including but not limited to Food Safety, Health & Safety.
Liaise with all departments in the business and act as key contact for all order and invoicing enquiries,
To ensure all products are sourced and manufactured to the Food Safety & Brand Integrity requirements defined by our customers’ requirements & BRC standards.
The Candidate
Strong numeracy and IT skills
Experience in database management
Sales reporting and general knowledge of order processing and invoicing
Results-driven, with sound commercial thinking and able to act as brand ambassador.
Highly competent in Excel
Strong attention to detail
Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
Minimum of 3 – 5 years account admin experience or degree graduate, ideally from an FMCG background
