Sales Executive The Business: A growing privately owned food business who supply retailers, wholesalers and manufacturers with a high-quality range of healthy food products. The Role: Working closely with the Head of Sales, the Sales Executive is customer facing, tasked with assisting new and existing customers. Providing excellent customer service to improve customer relations and increase sales. Some of the responsibilities include: Understand the product offering, processes and production capabilities Understand the value of our product and its position in the market and highlight new areas of opportunity Stay up to date with new product lines in the market Support the sales department where required to reach the team’s goals Actively seek new business leads and identify market opportunities Follow up on leads generated Maintain regular contact with existing customers Follow the Sales Strategy SOP in all activities Manage sample preparation and despatch Prepare sales and marketing presentations Participate in both national and international food exhibitions Confidently and enthusiastically represent the business, and maintain a professional attitude Drive a Continuous Improvement culture, promoting and implementing ideas that might improve quality, efficiency and profitability of the business Maintain Food Safety Standards Maintaining Health & Safety Standards Experience, Knowledge, Qualifications: The position is best suited to a recent graduate with 1-3 years sales experience. 1-3 years sales experience., Ideally with FMCG or a related category. Willingness to travel throughout London & the South East to visit customers. Excellent communication, IT, Excel and numerical skills. ‘Can Do’ attitude with willingness to learn. Desire to progress within sales & commercial. Location: Must be commutable to the West London office. Commutable areas are: Uxbridge, Hayes, West Drayton, Southall, Hounslow, Slough, Greenford. Package: £20-25k + 10% bonus + travel expenses + benefits. The business offers excellent career progression options into an Account Manager or Sales Manager level position.
