Senior NPD Technologist

Alexander Steele have been asked to support one of longest standing clients with the search for a new Senior NPD Technologist, with a view this individual will become their next NPD Manager so a hugely important addition to the team to be based at their site near Brackley This is a great opportunity to join this wonderful employer, we are proud to go to market for them when asked as we know what a great place this is to work and more importantly what a great NPD role this will be for the successful individual. Our client are a leader in their chosen sector and supply the retail market UK wide supplying a number of the major food retailers from multiple sites and have shown significant growth over the last few years. The Role This role is based at Head Office near Brackley, as Senior NPD Technologist you will report to the Head of Innovation & Development and will take part in driving the NPD strategy for the business across all new products as well as lead with both customer and supplier presentations taking projects from Concept through to Launch and have responsibility for managing 1 direct report. The Candidate We are looking for an ambitious and confident individual who is keen to be involved at each NPD stage. A serious passion for everything food is essential! Food product development experience (ideally 3 years+). Ideally degree educated in food science, food technology or similar. Background of working with retailers and suppliers preferred. IT literate including Microsoft Office My client are willing to offer the successful candidate a salary of up to £42k this will depend on your level of experience, working Mon - Fri from 8am till 5pm, they offer 25 days holiday plus statutory days and a pension.
