Senior Process Technologist

Alexander Steele Recruitment is working in partnership with a leading food manufacturer based in Worcestershire supplying to major retailers. Due to a period of exciting growth, they are looking to appoint a Senior Process Technologist to oversee and collaborate with wider teams on new factory trials. On offer: • Salary is TBC • 25 days holiday • Company pension • Working TBC The role: Reporting to the Site Development Manager, the Senior Process Technologist will take full responsibility for conducting trials and recording data efficiently with the product development process and safety in mind. The successful candidate is tasked with supporting the creation of factory specifications, providing advice to manufacturing teams and keeping senior staff updated throughout the process. The key responsibilities of the role include: • Oversee the full product trial process including running, reporting and testing • Undertake regular process audits to ensure smooth running of trials • Ensure all necessary paperwork is kept up to date as required • Promote process improvement internally to improve efficiency • Maintain strong relationships with all departments • Adhere to GMP standards at all times and highlight potential issues as required • Assist with training and development of staff to strive for continuous improvement • Report any staff performance issues to senior team members Candidate requirements: The business is looking for an individual with experience in a similar role in a fast paced environment within FMCG. • Excellent attention to detail • Awareness of health and safety guidelines • Able to work under pressure and to specific deadlines • Proficient in GMP and HACCP knowledge • Understand technical and operating standards If you're interested in learning more regarding the above role, please reach out to Sammi at Alexander Steele.
