Site Hygiene Manager
Alexander Steele have partnered with a food manufacturing business in Gloucestershire to recruit an experienced Site Hygiene Manager. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily hygiene functions of the business. The role holder will lead a team an experienced team to deliver the highest hygiene standards to meet legal and certifications standards. The successful candidate will work closely with production team and technical team.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily hygiene functions and develop a strong team work ethic.
• To ensure training cards and risks assessments are prepared for the various hygienic maintenance tasks in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure that a safe working environment exists for all employees and that as a minimum the factory meets the standards set out in the SHE policy.
• To ensure all relevant COSSH data is received and incorporated into schedules as appropriate.
• Maintaining factory GMP daily whilst keeping the factory clean and tidy and audit ready.
Background Experience:
• 3+ years of experience in hygiene management roles
• COSHH certification essential
• Excellent health and safety awareness
• Experience of managing and motivating teams
• HACCP/Food Safety/IOSH
