Supplier Technologist

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Suppler Technologist to join their established team in Lincolnshire. The successful applicant will join the team and report directly to the Technical Manager providing technical support and service the company’s suppliers, work directly with growers and support the Technical team. If you are just starting out in Technical and have agronomy or food related degree and feel passionate about what you do, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! This role includes UK travel with progression to travel within Europe. The role: •To provide support to the technical team and quality team •Develop understanding of customer needs, requirements, and specifications •Quality issue management •Relationship building •Adhere to Food Safety, Food Hygiene, Modern Slavery, and company procedures •Managing online approval system •Report KPI’s, develop CIP with growers and establishing standards for audits •Data collation and maintenance on plastic tax and raw material •Maintaining Sedex system and Muddy Boots The Candidate: •Agronomy or food related degree •Previous Technical experience of 3 years •Experience working with UK retailers as customers and raw material / growers •High level of accuracy and attention to detail •Flexible and willing to travel •Excellent communication skills •Excellent IT skills The Offer: •Full time, permanent job •Monday – Friday, 0800-1700 •Holidays •Pension •Onsite parking •Salary up to £30,000 depending on previous experience If you would like further information on this fantastic opportunity, please apply with your most recent CV or call Linda Cehovica on 0131 370 9191
