Alexander Steele is working in partnership with a premium packaging business that designs and supply’s nationwide to high street retailers. They are currently looking for a Supply Chain & Operations Admin Assistant to join their team. Working closely with the Operations Head and coordinate with suppliers, ensuring products are delivered to brief and on time. Fantastic opportunity for someone who is -organised and looking to grow a career within supply chain. For the ideal candidate the role is paying between £20,000 - £23,000 The Role Build strong working relationships with suppliers Support the team with delivering target margins through the accurate use of internal systems and processes. Help manage the critical path/product timeline to ensure orders are delivered on time Accurately input and maintain data for customer orders, ensuring correct quantity, pricing and margins Maintain and enhance client and supplier relationships to uphold their current first-class reputation Provide performance reports with the ability to analyse these and make changes to ways of working to contribute to business improvements Liaise with co-packers including regular site visits Raise purchase orders and keep records of GRN's and POD's Assist top management team when required sync and work closely with other remote team members The Candidate 1+ years of supply chain administration experience is desirable Ideally experience of working in product management, buying or production but not essential Previous experience in critical path management would be a bonus Be able to successfully build and maintain relationships with both internal and external parties Project management qualifications like Prince 2 are desirable but not essential Computer literate and with great Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel The ability to work with tight deadlines and perform under pressure A graduate degree is desirable If you would like to find out more about this great opportunity, please apply with your most recent CV or Call Clarke Smith on (phone number removed)
