Supply Chain Coordinator

Alexander Steele Recruitment has partnered with a leading Food business that has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Coordinator to take responsibility across all supply chain areas including inventory management, purchasing, demand and production planning elements of the business. Key Responsibilities: Manage the purchasing process, update on the progress of orders, contracts and reconciliation Purchase ingredients, packaging and services related to the manufacturing, storage and delivery of the business’ products. Forecast demand based on sales history and forecasts Liaise with the production manager daily to ensure the most efficient production plan and minimize line changes to the agreed plan. Drive cost effective production and capacity planning Applicant Skills: A Degree in Supply Chain, Commerce, Logistics, Business Management or equivalent 2 to 3 years Supply Chain, Inventory Control, Planning (Demand, Materials, Production), Buying or Logistics experience Good Microsoft Excel skills Strong numerical and analytical skills Salary will be circa £30 000 The role will be based onsite in the London area
