Our client, a global leader in the Food industry has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain professional manage their Inbound & Outbound Logistics operations, leading the warehouse team to create a successful function.
Key areas of responsibility include:
• Running the inbound and outbound operation (24 hours x 7 days) for the site, safely and within budget.
• Manage the warehousing team, ensuring that they carry out their tasks effectively.
• Ensuring that appropriate staffing and skill levels are deployed to deliver inbound & outbound KPI’s
• You will be the site Autostore super user, ensuring that key aspects of the system are well maintained (i.e. date codes, data maintenance etc)
• Ensuring that the equipment used in the operation is maintained efficiently (i.e. stretch wrap M/c’s, scanning & labelling equipment, conveyors and MHE equipment).
Candidate Requirements:
• A tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehouse Management, or equivalent will be preferred.
• At least 3 to 5 years Logistics, Inventory or Warehouse management experience within a FMCG manufacturing environment.
• Autostore Super User capability and understanding of SAP.
• Proven leadership skills, leading by example, demonstrating high standards of behaviour, honesty, and integrity.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact across all levels in the organisation.
