We have partnered with a fast-growing and innovative food business that has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Planning Manager to join their operations team and ensure the sooth running of their end-to-end Supply Chain process.

You will manage the production planning with third-party manufacturing partners, lead a team of two planners, ensure stock availability, and drive performance across their supplier base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all production planning with third-party manufacturers and manage a team of two Supply Planners.
  • Optimise finished goods stock levels to balance service, cost and risk.
  • Ensure raw materials and packaging are in place to support production schedules.
  • Build strong supplier relationships and manage KPIs including OTIF, stockholding and factory performance.
  • Support month-end reporting and stock reconciliation.
  • Identify efficiency opportunities to reduce cost, improve planning and strengthen processes.
  • Own packaging projects including artwork updates and material transitions.
  • Partner closely with the Demand Planning Manager to support D2C growth and service levels.

Candidate Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Supply, Materials or Production Planning experience within a food or drinks manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s as standard), and confidence handling data.
  • Strong analytical skills and solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
  • Good communication skills and ability to engage and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders (suppliers, partners and internal teams).
  • Highly organised project manager with strong attention to detail.
  • Confidence leading and supporting others to deliver against shared goals.
