Technical Coordinator

Alexander Steele are delighted to be working with a luxury food brand who supply in to prestigious outlets across the UK. Due to growth the business is looking for a Technical Assistant to join them at their site in London. Salary on offer for this role is £32,000 to £35,000 depending on experience. The role: Reporting to the Technical Manager, the role of Technical Assistant will be to conduct the administrative tasks for the Technical function by taking responsibility for the day to day management QMS and food safety systems, finished product and raw material specifications and be a key member of the HACCP team. Key responsibilities; • Specification writing, updating and maintenance. • Generation of technical KPIs - NCs, customer complaints and micro performance. • Investigation of customer complaints and responding to customers in a timely manner. • Ensure all technical systems and documentation is up to date and maintained. • Work closely with site QA team and where necessary do internal, GMP and Customer audits and visits. • Maintain up to date technical risk assessments. • Deputise and support others across the technical and quality function in all tasks as required.
