Technical Services Business Development Manager

Alexander Steele has partnered with a leading Packaging business that has an exciting opportunity for an agile and self-driven Business Development Manager with a hunting mindset, to generate revenue from both new and existing business within their Repairs and Services European markets. Key Accountabilities: • Support potential new customers with an understanding of what and how the service proposition will satisfy and exceed their expectation. • Contribute effectively to the overall sales strategy and executing sales tactics to meet or exceed revenue/margin targets. • Calendar ownership for all customer development tasks. • Arrange visits to introduce and advise clients on how the business will deliver their servicing needs. • Coordinate work for large contracts and projects when necessary. • Coordinate external contractors when required. • Coordinate Customer presentations to deliver desired results. Candidate Requirements: • A Sales or Technical tertiary qualification or equivalent • B2B experience selling technical solutions and delivering them. • Experience driving technical services sales across the European market will be preferred. • Experience in using ERP systems, particularly SAP Business One service and reporting will be advantageous. • A hunting mindset and the desire to constantly seek out new opportunities within new and existing accounts. • Proven ability to increase revenue and maintain profitability through demonstration of commercial and financial acumen. • A full UK drivers’ licence • Salary will be circa £55K to £60K + Car Allowance + Bonus. • This is a home-based role with occasional travel to their Northamptonshire & Norfolk based offices.
