Alexander Steele Recruitment is working with a leading Food Manufacturer as they look to appoint a Technical Administrator to their team. Our client is a leading supplier of fresh produce to UK retailers. The role is to provide support to the Technical managers. You will assist in the day to day running of the technical function, providing reports, data entry and analysis services through to assisting in the implementation and development of actions plans and policy. Technical Administrator’s responsibilities: •Management of customer and internal specifications •Manging the due diligence process including updating and maintaining the Tesco Foods connected, TQC and Greenlight supplier approval systems •Creation of reports/trackers and KPI summaries to be sent to customers and suppliers •Follow up of customer and supplier rejections and quality issues where necessary •Providing support to the technical team Experience Needed: •Excellent Excel Skills •Very high data & analytical skills •Highly numerate with good verbal and written communications •Ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast-paced environment •A very high level of computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint •Experience in a data entry systems & database •Manging internal and external relationships •A willingness to learn and a strong work ethic •Motivated and energetic person with a strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills On Offer: •£25,000 •33 days holiday •Pension If you are interested in hearing more about this position, please contact Iain Shanley on iain.shanley@alexandersteele.com or 0131 370 9191 for a more information about the role.
