Academy Assistant (Chocolate Academy)

Academy Assistant - Marketing & Sales Alexander Steele is recruiting on behalf of a Global Manufacturer of Food / Confectionery ingredients. This client is a world leader in their sector and operates across the full supply chain from the sourcing of raw materials to high quality end products. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Academy Assistant to join the team with responsibility for Inspiring & educating customers that visit the UK applications centre / Academy. On-site 5 days per weeks - Oxfordshire. What your tasks are: Support the team in the day to day running of the Academy throughout courses, customer visits, virtual eventsm filming & supporting the requests of the Sales team. Help the team set up the academy in readiness for customers. Support the team throughout customer days and courses to provide a high level of customer service. Assist the team with the creation of products to support application testing, customer briefs & projects. Assist the team with preperation of ingredients and equipment for courses, customer days, offsite visits & filming. Help the team to keep the academy clean / tidy at all times. Also ensure the equipment is in proper working order. Help the team to welcome & host vistors, providing a high level of customer service and professionalism at all times. Stock checking & ordering. What are we looking for: A passion for Bakery / Pastry applications. Min level 2 Food Hygeine certificate. NVQ Level 3 professional cookery / patisserie. Fluent English both verbal & written.
