Commercial Development Manager Alexander Steele has partnered with a FMCG & Sustainability Technology company that is making ground-breaking strides in the development of alternative environmentally friendly and sustainable products/materials for day-to-day use. The company works with Blue Chip FMCG organisations, and they have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Development Executive to increase Customer insights and create an effective brand and product marketing strategy. The role will offer a high level of autonomy and creativity. Key responsibilities include: Working with the marketing team to develop brand and technical product marketing strategy and positionings. Interfacing with customers to gain market and category insight to inform business development plans. Keeping up to date with category and competitor information to inform the marketing and business development ongoing strategy. Writing tender and stakeholder (investor) pitch documents Supporting commercial team leads (business development / marketing and communications) with a range of day-to-day activities. This will be a Monday - Friday based role and the business will be looking to pay circa £35,000 to £45 000, plus share options for the right candidate depending on experience. The Candidate Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Food Science, Material Science (or equivalent) coupled with Marketing and Product positioning experience within a global FMCG (homecare, personal care, or nutrition) company is required. Good technical writing ability and understanding of claims development is key for success. Excellent career progression in a successful, growing business. The position offers flexible working.
