Commercial Manager
The Business:
Alexander Steele are working in partnership with a successful home & personal care products manufacturer.
The business is growing and they are looking to add new talent to their Commercial team.
Job Purpose:
Responsible for the growth and protection of existing and new accounts to maximise all opportunities; profitably developing each relationship with the purpose of delivering the required annual growth of sales and gross margin by account across our portfolio.
The Role:
• The position is a customer facing role, working with small – blue chip customers.
• Growing sales organically.
• Using network to develop new business
• Working to establish strategic partnerships.
• Managing NPD project pipelines, managing costings.
• Working internally with R&D and Operations departments.
Experience, Knowledge, Qualifications:
• Commercial or product development experience within home/personal care manufacturing.
• New product development and project management knowledge
• People person: Confident communicator, presentation skills
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritise workload, problem solve
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook
• Good verbal communication and good interpersonal skills at all levels of the business both internally and externally
• Ability to use computerised information systems, input, retrieve and manage customer accounts
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook
