Customer Technical Assistant

Alexander Steele are delighted to be working with this large and innovative business on an exciting role! Our client is looking for a Customer Technical Assistant to join their Technical team at their site in Southall. The purpose of the role is to work with and support the Technical Account Manager in managing all technical aspects of a large and high end retailer account. Key responsibilities: •Support the Technical Account Manager dealing with customer complaints, requests and queries •Testing and analysis - Preparing samples to be sent to labs •Supporting with Specifications - Under the supervision of the Senior Technical Account Manager you will process, complete and review customer product specifications. •Assist with customer auditing •Database management and accounts administration The Candidate: •Have a good understanding of Food Technology •Excellent organisation skills •Good interpersonal skills - dealing professionally with internal and external contacts •Ability to work on own initiative •Be computer literate and be able to work confidently with Word, Excel and Powerpoint •Effectively communicating in English (Both written and in writing) and to understand requests from all levels. •Good level of numeracy Desirable but not essential: •Trained Auditor •French Speaking If you feel you have what it takes for this role please apply or for more information please contact Tracey on 0131 370 9191 or email tracey.fleming@alexandersteele.com
