Demand Planner – Drinks Manufacturing
Location: West Lothian
Salary: Up to £42,000 + benefits

Alexander Steele is delighted to be partnering with a leading drinks manufacturing business in West Lothian as they look to appoint a Demand Planner to join their supply chain team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the demand planning process, creating accurate forecasts to support production and sales.

  • Analyse historical data, market trends, and customer insights to improve forecast accuracy.

  • Work closely with commercial, supply chain, and production teams to ensure supply meets demand.

  • Manage inventory levels effectively, minimising waste while maintaining high service levels.

  • Support the implementation and improvement of planning systems and processes.

  • Prepare regular reports and provide insights to senior management.

The Candidate:

  • Previous experience in demand planning, supply chain, or forecasting (FMCG industry experience desirable).

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.

  • Proficient in Excel and planning systems (SAP or similar would be advantageous).

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to work to tight deadlines.
