A leading FMCG company is seeking an experienced and motivated Demand Planner to join its team in Glasgow. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering accurate forecasts, supporting effective stock management, and working collaboratively with stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and refine demand forecasts using historical sales data, market insights, and promotional activity.

  • Work closely with supply chain, sales, and marketing teams to ensure demand planning is aligned with business objectives.
  • Monitor forecast accuracy, analyse variances, and implement corrective actions where required.

  • Support inventory optimisation by balancing product availability with minimal excess or obsolete stock.

  • Contribute to the improvement of demand planning processes, tools, and systems.

Skills & Experience

Demonstrable experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain within the FMCG sector.

  • Strong analytical ability with proven skills in interpreting complex data and producing actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

  • Proficiency in demand planning software and advanced Excel skills.

  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
