Alexander Steele has partnered with a leading apparel business that has an exciting opportunity for a Head of Commercial Delivery to manage new product development and innovation projects from concept to launch.
You will oversee the Supply Chain, Commercial Sales Team, and Operations functions; ensuring that timelines for new sales opportunities, existing customer RFQ’s and roll outs are met.
Key responsibilities include:
• Play a pivotal role in project managing the supply chain departments, in conjunction with the commercial sales team to ensure that roll outs are achieved as to business requirements.
• Identify commercial requirements and engage any required departments to support the completion of the final objective.
• Ensure that projects are delivered end to end on time from brief, pricing and quality, ordering, shipping, and availability to sell.
• Ensure that appropriate levels of resources and capability are available to deliver to the plan.
• Influence and encourage team members to embrace and contribute to change.
Candidate requirements:
• Tertiary qualification in Business Management, Supply Chain, Procurement or equivalent
• At least 5 years’ Supply Chain, Innovation, Product Development, Buying, Product or Sales Management experience within an apparel/clothing environment.
• Innovation and Product Development project management experience.
• Experience sourcing and buying products from the Far East
• Good communication skills and the ability to present ideas to a broad range of stakeholders.
Salary will be circa £70K to £80K + Bonus.
25 holidays + 8 bank holidays
The role will be based in the Leicestershire area.
Hybrid remote working options available.
