Head of Sales Alexander Steele are working with an award winning and sustainable home and personal care manufacturer. The business has a fantastic range of products, they are investing and growing the business. They have a newly created opportunity for a Head of Sales. Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our dynamic team as the Head of UK Sales for a fast-growing SME brand. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and executing the sales strategy, driving revenue growth, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets in the UK across multiple channels. The role requires the ability to be hands on, adaptable, and entrepreneurial. Making things happen quickly, building momentum and opening new doors with customers. Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy and Planning: Lead and motivate the UK sales team of NAMs, but to also hands on manage a number of key accounts personally Maximise and grow existing business to best effect whilst also accelerating new business growth by being hands on in supporting new business development, JBP negotiation etc Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share objectives. Conduct market analysis and identify trends to capitalize on new business opportunities. Team Leadership: Build, lead, and motivate a high-performing sales team. Provide coaching, mentorship, and training to enhance the skills and capabilities of the sales force. Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Sales Performance Monitoring: Implement robust sales performance metrics and tracking mechanisms. Analyse sales data to evaluate performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop corrective strategies. Product Knowledge and Marketing Collaboration: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities. Collaborate with marketing teams to align sales strategies with product positioning and promotional efforts. Budget Management: Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources. Monitor expenses and implement cost-effective measures to maximize profitability. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. A proven track record in sales leadership roles within the FMCG industry. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a diverse team. Knowledge of FMCG market trends and dynamics. The role is home based with regular travel. The package is £70-80k + car allow + bonus + benefits.
