Alexander Steele continue to work in partnership with one of the UK's leading food manufacturing businesses and we are supporting them in their search for a Customer Service Administrator. As Import and Export Administrator you will be a integral part of our Customer Service Department. The role is responsible for a range of duties liaising with customers, customs brokers, other departments and providing KPI’s for the business. This is a busy role so will be expected to often juggle multiple projects or tasks at once and be prepared to take on something new with only a moment's notice • Processing relevant export and import documentation • Liaising with hauliers, customs brokers and customers to ensure the orders are not susceptible to be held at any import / export point • Producing orders reports and keeping them up to date • Keeping the records of all imports and exports up to date for all sites. • Updating the Import / Export procedures • Providing daily KPIs • Manage the receipt and input of customers’ orders, entering all orders accurately • Communicate with relevant teams to ensure customers’ orders are fulfilled, remaining up to date on production capability and supply of raw materials • Support customers on delivery queries, complaints, requests for information and any ad hoc issues. • Creation of Daily and Weekly Reports • Support the Customer Service Team Manager with any ad hoc tasks The candidate: • Experience in Export / Import is not essential but it will be considered an advantage. • Able to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook at an advanced level • Able to demonstrate initiative, decision making and self-motivation • Used to working within a fast-moving pressurised environment • Good communication skills both verbal and written; Excellent telephone manners • Time management skills • Able to build effective working relationships at all levels of the business Salary for this role is up to £25,000 depending on experience. Monday to Friday working 8.30am - 5pm
