Sales Manager - Midlands Alexander Steele is recruiting on behalf of UK Food Ingredient distributor. This client operates across the full supply chain from the sourcing of raw materials to high quality end products. Supplying industries such as Food, Beverage, Sports Nutrition & Pharma. An opportunity has arisen for a talented go-getter looking to establish themselves within the world of Ingredients. This role will involve working on a large number of house accounts, ensuring that business is maintained & cultivated whilst prospecting new customers to drive sales forward. Duties: Conduct outbound telemarketing calls to potential customers and lead generation via research / social media & other applicable channels. Identify and qualify leads to generate new business opportunities. Build and maintain relationships with existing clients. Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions. Utilize software tools, such as Salesforce, to track customer interactions and manage sales pipeline. Skills: Able to work individually & as part of a team. Excellent organisational skills. Good attention to detail. Strong communication skills. Enthusiastic & sociable.
