Insight Manager

Job Title: Insights Manager Reporting to: Snr Commercial Manager / Commercial Controller Company: Flamingo Produce Location: Stevenage ________________________________________________________________________________________ JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for managing, reviewing, and maintaining Flamingo’s market databases. To provide and present relevant data for reviews, projects, and customer requests. Liaise with and support the sales team to deliver the Commercial strategy. Promote data driven decision making across the business. ________________________________________________________________________________________ KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: • Customer specific category management • Maintaining, managing & uploading market data and resolving issues in a timely manner • Coding new lines (IRI and MDS) • Managing & building relationships with data providers: IRI (EPOS data), Kantar, Dunnhumby • Generating weekly, monthly & ad hoc market data for the business and customers • Providing market data and category reviews for specific projects to drive decision making • Weekly price and promo tracker _________________________________________________________________________________ STAKEHOLDERS: • Internal: all depts, primarily commercial • External: Tesco / M&S-Ocado / Waitrose ________________________________________________________________________________________ TYPE: ✓ Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across various stakeholders ✓ Confident presenter, with excellent attention to detail ✓ Agile and dynamic, with the ability to work under pressure and successfully prioritise ✓ Positive and self-motivated mindset, able to work independently ______________________________________________________________________________________ EXPERIENCE: ✓ Ideally with previous category management experience ✓ Understanding of EPOS, Kantar data and Dunnhumby data ✓ Analytical with ability to root cause / deep dive ✓ Organised with good attention to detail ✓ Strong Excel and PowerPoint ✓ Familiar with Power BI ✓ Previous experience within the food industry
