The Role
Responsible for managing, reviewing, and maintaining market databases. Provide and present accurate, relevant data and analysis to support business reviews, projects, and customer requests. Work closely with the sales team to support delivery of the Commercial strategy and promote data-driven decision making across the business.

The Role
Responsible for managing, reviewing, and maintaining market databases. Provide and present accurate, relevant data and analysis to support business reviews, projects, and customer requests. Work closely with the sales team to support delivery of the Commercial strategy and promote data-driven decision making across the business.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the upkeep and accuracy of all market data sources, ensuring timely updates and issue resolution
- Set up and code new SKUs across IRI and MDS systems
- Manage relationships with key insight partners such as IRI, Kantar, and Dunnhumby
- Build strong working relationships with retailers and act as a trusted point of contact
- Produce routine and ad hoc reports for internal teams and external customers
- Translate market trends and category data into clear recommendations that support commercial decision making
- Maintain a weekly tracker covering pricing, promotions, and key competitor movements
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships across teams and with external partners
- Confident communicator who can present insights clearly and accurately
- Experience in Category Management or a similar data-focused commercial role
- Practical understanding of EPOS, Kantar, and Dunnhumby datasets
- Highly analytical, comfortable deep-diving into data and identifying key drivers or issues
- Well-organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Previous food industry experience is advantageous but not essential
