Maintenance Engineer

The role: Alexander Steele are on the lookout for Multi – Skilled Maintenance Engineers to join an ambitious and growing Food production business in the Kent area. This is an exciting opportunity to join a really great business. This role is for Electrically biased engineers. Responsiblities: • Responsible for reactive and proactive maintenance work, including breakdowns and planned maintenance to the packaging machinery • Ensure all work carried out is legally compliant • Maintaining tools and equipment to a safe working condition • Carry out all other reasonable duties associated with the role The candidate: • Time served engineer • Multi – skilled, biased in either mechanical or electrical engineering • Experienced in installations, breakdowns and planned maintenance • Previous experience working in the Food Manufacturing Industry is desirable, as well as industry related qualifications • The perfect candidate will also be up-beat, positive and will possess a good attitude to work. Shifts on offer: • 4 on 4 off rotating days and nights, 36.75 hours per week
