Marketing Manager The role is hybrid working. The office is based in Yorkshire Up to £65k + car or car allow + bonus + benefits. Alexander Steele are working exclusively with an award winning premium food producer. The business has a fantastic range of branded products. The business is highly reputable, and they are well known for partnering with the UK’s major retailers. They are enjoying a strong period of growth and they have exciting plans to expand the range and increase their brand presence. Job Summary This role is part of the Marketing & NPD team. The role is accountable for the creation and delivery of the 3-year brand strategy and annual brand plan (inclusive of the full marketing mix). Leadership of the marketing team members to support the delivery of the plans. Key Areas of Responsibility • Support the Marketing & NPD Director to develop the 3-year brand strategy; clarifying the role the brands will play in the wider business. • Develop, communicate, and execute the annual brand plan for the portfolio. • Management of the portfolio’s P&L to deliver profit goals whilst growing the business in line with the strategy. • Oversee the on-time delivery of all projects and brand initiatives including EPD, NPD, pack design changes, BTL and ATL campaigns. • Monitor and understand key brand health performance metrics, identifying and executing clear actions. • Work closely with the wider commercial team to develop clear channel plans – whilst driving opportunities and mitigating risks. • Monitor and control budgeted brand expenditure. • Manage agency relationships to ensure effective work in line with objectives set. • Leadership of the marketing team, ensuring clear roles and accountabilities are known, and motivating development plans are in place. You will: • Be a passionate, determined and commercially minded individual, who can marry big business thinking with an entrepreneurial can-do attitude. • Have the knowledge of how to formulate, gain agreement to and implement brand objectives and strategies. • Bring experience of delivering brand programs, demonstrating strong understanding of all aspects of the marketing mix to grow equity, along with the ability to manage financials to maximize profitability. • Have the ability to evaluate market/consumer data to aid effective decision making. • Be able to get great output through the team and partner collaboratively to get epic work from agencies. • Be comfortable ‘taking others with you’, seeking builds from those around you. • Be able to flex style, develop and lead a diverse cross functional team. • Be open to constructive feedback and actively enjoy building capability, autonomy and ownership
