Materials Planner

Alexander Steele has partnered with a leading Food business that has an exciting new opportunity for a Materials Planner to manage the supply of a wide range of materials and ensure that it meets demand in a timely and cost-effective manner. Key Responsibilities: • Plan appropriate stock levels of finished goods to be stored in the UK of selected SKU range • Manage raw materials and packaging levels at third party sites to ensure consistent supply of key customers and own brand SKU’s • Raise Purchase Orders / Demand in accordance with firm and forecasted demand according to the stocking policy and agreed volumes Candidate Requirements: • Materials, Inventory or Supply Planning experience in a FMCG environment • Good systems experience including Microsoft Excel and ERP software • Strong communication skills and the ability to establish effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders • Ability to analyse and interpret large data with attention to detail This is your opportunity to join a fast-growing business providing sustainable and organic food products.
