Multi Skilled Engineer Alexander Steele have partnered with a leading consumer business in the UK to recruit an experienced multi skilled engineer. Our client has been going through a foreseen period of growth and expansion making it an exciting time to join the business. The role holder will have a strong multi skilled background with excellent fault find and problem-solving abilities. You will be responsible for maintaining and optimising production machinery and processes. Responsibilities: • Perform preventive maintenance and repair work on a wide range of production equipment, including mixers, conveyors, ovens, packaging machines, and more. • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to minimise downtime and production interruptions. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, safety, and product quality. • Conduct routine inspections, monitor equipment performance, and document maintenance activities accurately. Background Experience: • Excellent multi skilled engineering background in fast paced manufacturing environments. • Apprenticeship qualified. • Degree qualified in engineering or similar discipline – HNC/HND • Excellent ability to communicate with stakeholders across various levels. • Strong organisational skills and an exceptional attention to detail. • You will be a motivated person who is keen to be a part of large-scale business growth.
