National Account Manager - Major Retailers UK Alexander Steele are working in partnership with a growing European Food Group. They supply major retailers with high quality branded and private label food products. Role summary: The Commercial team are looking to add a NAM to their team. The role provides the opportunity to take full P&L responsibility for major retailers. Responsibilities: Prepare annual budgets of volumes, selling prices, costs and margins by line or by account, for inclusion in the annual company business plan. Prepare Annual Individual Account plans, aligned to the Core Channel Objectives and execute on time and in full. Produce and maintain a matrix of gains, losses and active opportunities, with specific timelines of achievement. Regular updates with the Head of Channel to review progress and ensure appropriate action and focus is being applied. Ensure that all customer quotes satisfy company margin requirements What’s on offer: The role offers hybrid working. The office is based in London. £45-55k + car allow + bonus + benefits The role offers a path into a SNAM level position. Experience and Qualifications: FMCG industry experience, ideally food manufacturing retail national accounts. Understanding of private label products. Strong numeracy, analytical, problem solving and customer facing skills.
