National Account Manager

National Account Manager - Major Retailers Alexander Steele are working with an award winning food manufacturer. The business supply the UK’s major retailers. The business is investing and growing, and they are looking to add a talented National Account Manager to their team. Key Responsibilities · Full sales and gross margin responsibility for designated accounts. · Whilst managing existing accounts, this role will also typically involve elements of business development. · Developing joint business plans. · Supporting the Brand Manager with the growth of our brand. · Managing price negotiations. · Build effective working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders. · Use customer sales data to support consumer insights and drive commercial actions to grow sales. · Working in conjunction with NPD Manager to showcase innovation. · This role reports to the Head of Sales. About You · Previous experience as a National Account Manager. · Strong administration, communication and analytical skills. · A passion for the food industry, strong understanding of retail markets. · High levels of commercial and financial acumen. · Confident, motivated and determined character. · Excellent sales and negotiation skills. · Have a creative mind. · Have a high attention to detail with great presentation ability. · Excellent at building relationships both internally and externally. The role offers hybrid working (1-2 days in office per week) They are paying up to £50k + car allow + bonus + benefits.
