National Account Manager (Retail/Grocery) Location: Leeds Hybrid Working Package: Up to £60,000 + Car Allowance + 15% Bonus 25 days holiday + bank holidays Following a period of strong growth and success, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a National Account Manager to join a leading food producer. As a National Account Manager, you will be responsible for the management and growth of one of the businesses largest retail/grocery accounts. You will report directly into the Sales Controller. Key Responsibilities: Build relationships with key contacts with the retailer. Manage and control robust sales plan. Drive NPD with the account to list margin enhancing new lines. Regular visits to your customers for product reviews and planning meetings. Liaise with key site departments over new ideas, products & promotions. Complete all administrative tasks relating to the account. Keep production informed about product relists and delists. Ensure accurate forecasts for new line volumes to help with purchasing of ingredients and packaging and to minimize write off costs. Complete weekly reports as required. Analyse competitors to identify gaps for product development. Monitor retail pricing to make sure our products are competitive. Ensure the Public and Trade image of the brand is maintained and enhanced in all dealings with all organizations or persons outside of the business. Ideal Candidate & Experience: Experience of handling retail/grocery accounts. Excellent interpersonal skills. Highly motivated and delivery focused with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Confident with clear communication skills – verbal and written. Professional Image Ability to work effectively under pressure whilst prioritizing workload to meet deadlines. Proven ability to use Microsoft Office Ability to influence and establish positive relationships with a wide range of people (internally and externally)
