This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially aware product development professional to lead innovation activity and deliver new products from initial concept through to successful launch. The business has ambitious growth plans and is continuing to invest in its product development capability, creating a role with genuine scope to make an impact.

Salary: £50,000 to £60,000

Key Accountabilities

Lead and manage the full new product development process from concept through to launch
Create and drive the NPD strategy in line with business goals and future growth plans
Work closely with commercial and customer focused teams to deliver high quality innovation
Collaborate across internal departments including Technical and Operations to ensure project success
Keep up to date with food trends, consumer insight, and competitor activity to support future development plans
Manage timelines and priorities across multiple live projects to ensure delivery targets are met

Candidate Requirements

Proven experience in NPD within FMCG or food manufacturing
Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple developments at once
Creative and forward thinking, with a commercial mindset and strong attention to detail
Confident communicator who enjoys working collaboratively across different teams
Hands on and comfortable working in a fast paced manufacturing environment
Genuine passion for product development and bringing new ideas to life
