Operational Excellence Lead

Our client, a leading global food manufacturer is urgently looking for an Operational Excellence Coordinator to proactively deliver world class manufacturing operations to the site, ensuring that it is aligned to achieve profitable growth and has a standardised approach to Continuous Improvement. Key responsibilities • Work alongside the Excellence Central Team to support the establishment of a continuous Improvement culture by reducing non-value adding activities across the site and wider business. • Work closely with the Team Manager's to ensure the ongoing sustainability of Lean tools on site - ensuring that skills levels are maintained, and benefits realised. • Support the communication around Lean processes and results across the site. • Support the site's Lean roll out and ensure that it is consistent with the overall Excellence approach Candidate requirements: • A qualification in Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Lean Six Sigma, Industrial Engineering or equivalent will be preferred. • At least 2 to 3 years Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence or Lean implementation experience within a manufacturing environment. • Strong communication skills and a demonstrated effective team player Salary will be circa £40K to £45K + Bonus + Benefits 25 leave days + 8 bank holidays The role will be based onsite (Mon to Fri) in the Manchester area
