Process Development Technologist

Alexander Steele are working in partnership with a large, chilled food, manufacturer based in North West London who are currently looking to recruit a Process Development Technologist. The business can offer employees excellent training and personal development. This will be a Monday – Friday position paying between £30,000 - £33,000 depending on experience + excellent employee benefits. The Role • Lead production trials and pre-production ensuring alignment of all stakeholders at all stages of the project. • Ensure all trials and projects run within the agreed critical path. • Calculate costing to agreed margins and targets. Ensure all costings are updated at each stage of development up to launch. • Create handover documents to transfer trialled food concepts to the technical team. • Lead launch meetings. • Attend taste panel and positive release meetings when necessary. The Candidate • 2 years’ experience in NPD, Process, or Technical. • Food manufacturing experience is essential. • Passionate about great food. • Positive ‘Can Do’ attitude. • Full of drive & energy.
