Process Technologist

Alexander Steele Recruitment are working in partnership with a wonderful food manufacturing business based in Northeast Lincolnshire. The organisation supply a number of the major UK retailer’s and we are currently assisting the business to recruit a Process Technologist on a permanent basis. As the Process Technologist, you will act as a key link between the product development kitchen and the production lines. This is a Monday – Friday role and the salary on offer is circa £30,000 The Role – Reporting into the Technical Manager • Planning, preparation and successful execution of process development and line trials to deliver customer requirements and process improvements. • Monitor and communicate process trends to ensure launch date adherence, maximum process optimisation and effective communication to customers. • Ensure the output of all line trials are fully documented with adherence to food safety, quality standards and customer requirements are met. • Working with NPD and Production, establish appropriate quality attributes for work in progress material, assembly and finished product taking into account operational capabilities. • Carry out ongoing Process validation of relevant factory equipment to ensure site due diligence requirements are met. • Co-ordinate Pre-Production and Launch preparation The Candidate • Previous experience working within the food manufacturing sector is essential • Analytical and problem-solving skills If you are interested in hearing more about it this position, please apply with your most recent CV or contact Richard Steele on 0131 370 9191 for more information about the role.
