Product Buyer

Alexander Steele is working with a fantastic Fresh Produce business with a global footprint who have asked us to source a Product Buyer for the UK business exclusively. For this role, you will be working with suppliers sourcing seasonal products for the business. Brillant role for someone that enjoys managing full procurement process and looking to step into a multinational organisation that can help develop and their career within procurement. The Role Managing the procurement process for flower, plant crops and raw materials. Along with price negotiation and product programming Develop and maintain grower relationships, aligning business strategy Implement continuous improvement, to improve efficiencies and drive best practice Help the development of medium / long term product plans with key stakeholders.
