Quality Control Technician

Alexander Steele has partnered with a leading Food manufacturer that is urgently looking for a Quality Control Technician to complete the daily testing of raw materials, finished products and NPD samples; and to carry out daily GMP audits and paperwork inspection as required. Key responsibilities: • Daily calibration of testing equipment • Preparation of samples for external microbiological testing. • Storing of retained samples. • Testing samples of production according to specification • Recording test results electronically • Completion of results paperwork • Testing of NPD samples Candidate requirements: • A minimum GCSE 1-3 in Chemistry, General science or equivalent • Quality Control experience in a Food or Drinks manufacturing environment. Salary will be circa £25K to £27K + Benefits. The role will be based onsite in the Stoke-on-Trent area.
