With a workforce of over 16,000 employees, the business is entering an exciting new phase of growth and innovation across the MENAI region. To support this, they are seeking an accomplished Quality & Food Safety leader to oversee the Regional QFS agenda across Saudi Arabia, Egypt, India and the wider MENAI framework.

The Role
The Regional Head of Quality & Food Safety will lead and shape the QFS function across MENAI, ensuring compliance with industry standards, legislation, and food safety requirements. Sitting as part of the Global QFS Council, this role will drive consistency, governance and continuous improvement, while future-proofing the organisation against risks and building world-class standards across suppliers, co-packers, manufacturing and storage sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage and develop regional QFS teams across Crisis Management, Retailer Technical Management, and Food Safety.

  • Drive compliance, consistency, and standardisation across MENAI sites.

  • Set strategic goals, metrics and reviews in alignment with the global QFS strategy.

  • Audit and approve 600+ raw material and packaging suppliers, ensuring robust Food Safety and Quality Systems.

  • Manage relationships with external Food Safety and Quality service providers.

  • Monitor and communicate food industry updates and regulatory changes.

  • Benchmark against industry best practice through external bodies, suppliers and customers.

  • Act as QFS lead on global business-wide initiatives, supporting simplification and functional alignment.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven track record in a cross-regional Quality & Food Safety leadership role.

  • Strong knowledge of global industry standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Degree in Food Science or a related discipline.

  • Experienced in stakeholder engagement and managing complex supplier networks.

  • Agile, resilient and collaborative leader able to operate in a dynamic, matrix organisation.
