Senior Account Manager - Food Ingredients Alexander Steele is recruiting on behalf of a producer of innovative food solutions & ingredients for the manufacturing sector. Our client specialises in condiments. dry goods as well as other commodity ingredients. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a positive & motivated individual to join our client as a Senior Account Manager. The role will manage Industrial manufacturers of savoury products within the FMCG Industry, the role will be split 70/30 in terms of Account Management / New Business. Home based - Travel 1 x per month to the Essex area. £45-60k + Bonus (10%) + Car Allowance + Benefits What will you do? Commercial Management Accountability for delivering budgeted sales in volume, turnover, gross margin (£) & (%) To develop and execute a clear strategy for the industrial channel ensuring full stakeholder alignment with the UK team. Relationships with key customer & industry bodies Integrate the relevant customer service team members into the commercial function ensuring both strong relationships with the operations function AND putting the customer at the centre of all activities Lead team & manage critical projects to ensure the business (NPD, EPD) is well managed Strong collaboration with the BUs to ensure alignment with key product & category priorities Key Skills / Competencies: Proven experience of working with Ingredient products.
