About the Role: You’ll lead the delivery of outstanding technical and specification support to the businesses customers - managing specifications, documentation, and compliance to the highest standards. Working cross functionally, you’ll ensure all product data, labelling, and regulatory information are precise and up to date.
This is a hands-on role that blends technical expertise with proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the main point of contact for customer technical enquiries and documentation requests.
- Manage and approve product specifications, allergen and nutritional data, and labelling information.
- Maintain and enhance the technical documentation system to ensure version control and accuracy.
- Interpret and apply relevant food legislation, retailer requirements, and customer standards.
- Support product launches, audits, and technical aspects of customer visits.
- Drive efficiency in technical service processes and deliver training to build internal capability.
What You’ll Bring
- Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a similar discipline.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a technical, specifications, or compliance role within the food manufacturing sector.
- Experience using technical databases or specification management systems.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills.
