Supply Planner

Alexander Steele has partnered with a leading Food business that is urgently looking for a Supply Planner to effectively liaise with the Sales and Procurement teams and ensure that inventory levels are optimised to meet customer requirements. Key responsibilities • Communicate effectively with suppliers, transport providers, procurement, and sales colleagues to maintain optimum levels of supply at all times anticipating, recognising and resolving delivery and supply issues. • Minimise lost sales and wastage whilst maximising cash flow through effective monitoring of stock levels and demand including challenging and enhancing customer forecasting information. • Proactively manage a designated supplier base using appropriate ERP systems Candidate requirements • A tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Management, or equivalent • Supply Planning, Inventory Planning and Supply Chain experience in a FMCG environment. • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. • Good Excel skills. Salary will be circa £30K to £35K + Bonus. 25 leave days + 8 bank holidays. The role will be based in London. Hybrid remote working options available (3 days in the office).
