Territory Account Manager Location: West Midlands (Field Based) Alexander Steele are working in partnership with our client who are a Fine Food Producer- specialising in the independent retail and gift market. Offering a salary up to £35k + Car + Uncapped Bonus The ideal candidate will have food industry background and experience working with customers such as farm shops, speciality retailers, cafes, garden centres, and/ or coffee shops. Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Territory Account Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales within a designated geographic area, building, and maintaining customer relationships, and achieving revenue targets. The Territory Account Manager will play a key role in developing and implementing sales strategies to maximize market penetration and profitability. The role provides the opportunity to take full responsibility within the West Midlands area. This is a field-based role and will have a split of generally 75% account management and 25% business development. Key Responsibilities: Territory Management Take ownership of the assigned territory, including mapping potential customers, competitors, and market dynamics. Create and maintain a territory plan outlining key targets and growth opportunities. Regularly analyse and report on territory performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. Customer Relationship Management Build and nurture strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders. Understand customer needs and challenges, offering tailored solutions to meet their requirements. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally. Sales Execution Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective customers. Close sales and negotiate agreements with customers to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction. Experience and Qualifications Proven experience in sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Strong understanding of the sales process and customer relationship management. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Experience in the fine foods, bakery, or condiments industry. Ability to travel within the assigned territory. Attributes Results-driven and motivated by targets.
