The client supplies the An exciting opportunity has arisen for a UK Sales Manager to join the team and manage specific accounts within the B2B manufacturing channel, focussing on protein alternaitves & meatless. Home Based £65k - £75k + Company Car / allowance + Bonus + Strong Benefits Key Accountabilities: 1. Sell, cross sell, and upsell products and services on site and on remote to existing and new customers in order to guarantee optimal trust and retention of existing customers, and conversion of prospects into new customers. 2. Build and maintain strong relationships with (key) account(s) and act as trusted advisor in order to guarantee sustainable and profitable relationships, trust, and retention of (key) accounts. 3. Develop and maintain (e.g., through research, training, feedback etc.) knowledge and expertise about the product portfolio, value proposition, market dynamics, and customer segments in order to ensure accurate and relevant information is provided to SZ clients and identification of opportunities for (new) product development is shared. 4. Prepare (proposals for) contracts, lead and/or support negotiations with customers, define deal/transaction terms, and monitor the terms of the contracts in order to ensure successful negotiations and contracts are in line with commercial objectives. 5. Provide support to marketing related activities (event support, campaigns, etc.) in line with guidelines and planning in order to contribute to the efficient and effective execution of marketing activities. 6. Collect, verify, and process sales data/information as well as document, administer and archive the output in the appropriate systems and database in order to ensure correct, timely processing and documentation of data/information. 7. Identify and pursue new business opportunities such as new markets, clients, and partnerships in order to secure new business opportunities and ensure an increase in revenue and market share. 8. Prepare and provide periodic steering reports for the organization, in order to provide the management team with insights to take adequate decisions. Relationship management and acquisition 1.Build and Maintains existing customer relationships. 2.Get from (potential) client whether there is a need for other advice or activities or services. 3.Acts on signals from the market, PR opportunities, etc. Researches the opportunities and possibilities, collects data and determines the tactics to follow. 4.Reports about the acquired clients/projects. 5.Draft contract agreements. 6.Keeps abreast of the progress of segments projects and reports to the Head of sales functional Protein. 7.Handles complaints with the client, especially when this is in the qualitative, financial and relational sphere. 8.Reports activities to Head of Sales Functional Protein.
