Business Development Manager
Alexander Steele are working in partnership with an award winning FSTE 250 UK business, they are growing their presence in the UK foodservice market. The business work with top brands within the electrical, domestic appliances, technology and white goods sectors.

To develop new business at national and regional levels with food service operators including restaurant groups, pub chains, hotel chains, contract caterers, and wholesalers.
Responsible for driving sales, identifying new opportunities and strengthening relationships with customers.
Helping create a sales strategy, demonstrating initiative and proactive thinking.
Growing accounts as they are brought on board, looking for organic growth opportunities.
Helping grow the brand within the sector, networking and attending trade shows.
Working to deliver key financial targets and working to budgets for sustainable growth.
Working well as part of a team.
Knowledge, Skills, Attributes and Experience:
Experience at regional and national level within food service.
Keen business hunter with the ability for farm accounts at national level.
Product experience is less important, full training provided.
Self-starter who enjoys being given autonomy.
Strong team player who will engross themselves into the business culture.
Ability to travel to customers, potentially notionally.
Good level of IT skills must be strong on figures and spreadsheets.
The positions are home based with travel to customers.
