We are recruiting for an Engineering Site Services Lead to join a food manufacturing business based in Newcastle. You must have ammonia refrigeration knowledge / experience. Reporting to the Engineering Manager with the responsibility for Site Services. Responsibilities: To develop the services department which has typically been ran by the engineering team. Responsible for the management of visitors and service providers. (Refrigeration, NWL etc) Responsible for engineering permits to works including contractor control and monitoring. Support the Engineering manager by developing and ensuring compliance to engineering quality and safety standards. Ensure site services are cost effective whilst identifying opportunities to improve through capital investment. Participate and communicate in detail with all teams at weekly meetings. To ensure PPM’s are completed to a high standard utilising the Shire system for accurate planning and tracking. Work Completion – completion of Piranha Reports for all work completed for yourself and direct reports. Take ownership of countermeasures that have been identified, plan and implement accordingly. Ensure site services engineers undertake regular plant room walks, visual checks across all areas entering remedial works in the Shire system or Tracker. Experienced required: •Previous experience working in a similar roll at a similar level. •Time Served Facilities / Services •Ammonia refrigeration knowledge / experience •The maintenance of refrigeration systems and plant rooms. •Steam and condensate boilers, pressure vessels, written schemes and compliance •Local authority compliance of domestic hot and cold-water systems. •Compressed air generation. •Fire alarm and emergency light testing. •Ventilation and Extraction systems. •Legionella Awareness On Offer: •£50,000 - £55,000 DOE •Monday – Friday (days only) •33 days annual leave Sound Interesting?
