Alexander Steele continues to work with one of the UK's fastest growing and most innovative food manufacturers and we are currently supporting them in finding an experienced Hygiene Manager to join their facility in Newry. On offer: • Salary is £40,000 to £43,000 doe • Company pension The role: As Hygiene Manager you will oversee and facilitate hygiene standards across the manufacturing facility. You will also manage personnel, processes, and systems to ensure adherence to high hygiene standards and compliance with relevant regulations. Close collaboration with General Managers and departmental teams across the site is essential. Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities; • Develop and review all Standard Operating Procedures for hygiene teams. • Oversee personnel within the hygiene department. • Create and deliver departmental training programs. • Collaborate with other departments to identify and address hygiene-related needs and challenges. • Strategically plan and manage the hygiene team's workforce. • Ensure strict adherence to hygiene standards and schedules. • Manage stock control for hygiene consumables. • Provide coaching and mentoring to enhance the skills of the hygiene team members.
