Sales Manager - Food Service This role is mostly field based in London, with weekly visits to the London office. Up to £60k + car or car allow + 30% bonus + benefits. Alexander Steele are working exclusively with an award winning B-Corp premium food producer. The business have a fantastic range of premium food products, sourced from all over the world. The business is highly reputable, and they are well known for partnering with michelin star and celebrity chefs. Purpose A leadership position has become available in our foodservice sales team. The role is focused on driving sales in the foodservice channel and the management of the foodservice team. The foodservice channel comprises customers primarily in the Hotel, Restaurant and Contract Catering channels, each of which requires its own strategy. There is currently a team of 6 who balance their time between face-to-face customer visits and office/home based strategy and follow up. You will have a structured induction, gaining insight into how the company operates. Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities Overall management of the foodservice team including weekly catch ups, monthly 121s and regular team meetings Helping to devise tactics to drive sales within each sector Working closely with product experts in and outside of the team to curate and enhance the range and meeting volume targets Developing the skills and experience of the team and continue honing them into a world class sales team Track spending to ensure that we get the best return and do not overspend Tracking business performance and making recommendations to improve performance Providing regularly updated forecasts by customer for supply chain Working with all business departments (customer services, planning, purchasing and production) to provide information required to fulfil customer orders To contribute to the Health & Safety, Food Safety and Socio-Environmental/Energy, business values, and to help achieve the company-wide objectives that are communicated on an on-going basis.
